Loch Eil was Great !!! Actually it's hard to say how good it was.
Just Superb!! That's it,,,, LoL
Everyone had to be split into clans. Our onewas made up of 12 people (one of the biggest ones). The Campbell Clan.
When we arrived, all the clans had to meet their instructors and get to know where everthing is, like: Drying rooms, Barn, Boot Area, Scott Room (Big room where we could meet each other), OUR ROOMS etc.
We had two instructors: Ken and John. They were both great. John helped us with many activities but Ken taught us different skills and helped us to fight with our fears. I think Ken and John made what we had to do clear.
Our buses were a wee bit late so we arrived at 2 o'clock on Monday afternoon. We had about 1 hour to shove our bags into our rooms and unpack them. When everyone done that, we had the chance to jump into a Freezzzzing Cold Loch, just for the banter:D
Later that day all the clans did an activity called 'Nigh Line'. The task was to cover our eyes with scarfs and then stand one behind another; holding on to the person in front's shoulders. We picked a leader and that person made us walk behind him/her. When this activity was over, everyone was wet and muddy. We had to walk through a forest in darkness, not knowing where we were and where to walk; the only help we had was the leader talking.
The next day (Tuesday) we had to go out hill walking and our goal was to reach the top of Meall Bhanbhaidh (965 feet hill). I know it is not hard to walk up a hill like that but it makes you sweat when there is 3 feet of snow and you need to walk throught it. You need to push yourself to the limits for that kinda journey :D:D:D/ One thing matters most, is that we all made it up !! !! !! yeaheyyy !!!

Tuesday was the best day out of the week. We gained lifetime memories from walking up that hill with our cool crew. Also in the afternoon we experienced a night out onto the 'Trapize' where Michael Young wet his pants on the top of the pole. Being scared to grab the bar. Screaming loudly, not caring about our advice.

Moving on to Wednesday :):) it was great !! I think it's just because I love canoeing on Lochs & Rivers.
The Campbell Clan (Us) had to paddle accross the Loch in three canoes. The water was really cold, but I survived. The sunshine was right on our faces and the air was pretty warm which helped. When we reached the other side of the loch, we all had lovely, warm 'Hot Chocolate' .
Thursday, hmmmm !!!!$ FIVE GOLF RINGS $!!!! :D:D :)
Thursday was the day that everyone in our clan acctually felt the cold !!
Our task was to climb up 'Boy George' a 68feet tall tree with icy branches and pointy ends, scary stuff. Not recomended for people which are scared of heights :S
All of us were tied onto a rope and the person in front of you for safety reasons. The rope made it even harder to climb up the tree because, whereever the leader (person at the front) went you had to follow his route. On the way down from the top of the tree we had to do the same thing follow the leader. The only problem appeared when the people still going up wanted to move on but you wanted to go down so you had to cross over them :S:S This made all the ropes tangle around and slow down the flow. We were stuck up this massive tree for about 4 HOURS in really cold temperatures and there were snow flakes were falling down from the sky !!!
Liam kept everyone awake on that tree by singing 'FIVE GOLD RINGS' !! every so often.
Friday ??? what did we do??hmmmm,
Everyone had to prepare for a Clan Talk which was held in the Scott room at mid-day. Our task was to say we had learned from the Outward Bound, things that we enjoyed; things we didn't enjoy; things like, have we overcome our fears or helped someone else to do so.
I would like to say thanks to Ken and John for all their help and what they have taught us; everyone who organised that week and helped us raise the money to cut down the price of the trip.
Thanks to the teachers that went with us and especially Mr Hobson for making this trip possible.
The week went really quickly, it must have been because I enjoyed it SOOO MUCH.
From my point of view it was really worth going.
I will never forget that week.
Those how didn't go, missed one of the best weeks they could have ever experienced.
Thanks for reading my passage :)
